Found this when cleaning up an iron pile today. It's about 30 inches long. Also, another one that was about 4 ft. long and a lot heavier. Hint- was found in an old well drillers pile of well casings.

It"s a wrench for sucker rods. Sucker rods are the solid steel rods that make the pump at the bottom of the well work, they are stroked up and down by the pump jack.

I think that is a pry bar and the other end is to straighten the twist out of a 2X4 or 2X6 before nailing it as a stud. That is if the opening is sized correctly to fit 2x's.

MSD, IMO it is a Oil field Sucker rod Tighten/loosening Tool. Looking at the J end of the tool. It is a larger version of what My water well guys use to break loose and tighten the sucker rod in My Windmill.
As to the pinch bar end.....pry with, open crate out on a well site.

the slotted end is to put a chain link in to tighted or loosen the rods,...usually has a hydraulic ram to pull on the chain

It"s a J wrench used for tightening and loosening cable tool drill stems with a circle and jack. The rod wrenches for sucker rod look the same, but are shorter and smaller so they can be used by hand.
