Looking at nice 72 4020 that has no rear serial #.How does this affect its value. The rest of tractor seems to be correct.First time I have run into this and I am sure there is opinions about how much it decreases the value. Thanks

If you are buying it to use as a working tractor I would not think it makes any difference. Unless you are going to sell it next year to a collector. But if you are going to farm with it for next 20 years I don't think it matters.

I agree with you flying belgian.

I bought an MTA 20 years ago. I can't honestly tell you if it even has a serial no. plate on it. Bought it to use. Pulled the sprayer on 600 acres of crops for 8 years with it. All I know is it is a 1954 model.

I have a IH300, IH560, and a IH1066 and can't even tell you what years the three are. Bought them to use them.
