Does anyone have any experience in using apple cider vinegar, to combat artheritus in the hands and wrist's? I was told that drinking a shot a day would help, but have been doing that for 4 days now,and see no difference. Is this just an old wives tale, or does it really work? Hard to steer old tractor, with painfull hands, but cows still need to be fed!

I've not used it to treat arthritis, but I did read it helps clean out the sinuses and helps with sinus infections. I tried it for that, and it really seemed to help.

I tried it also. Got the same results as you. Vinegar is useful for several things, but curing arthritis is obviously not on that list.

My feet'll cramp up every now and then and I'll drink it. Usually helps in a couple days.. Prolly effects folks different.....

I lived in a trailer park in Roy about a lifetime ago when I was a Private at the Fort....... CRS disclaimer if I already told you that

dont know whether it will work on arthritus, but it is not a miracle cure.you need to take it more than four days.if you want to help your arthrtus then stop eating potatoes, tomatoes, peppers,or anything else from the nightshade family.

a shot of vinigar for the rest of your life will help allieviate a lot of things

a tablespoon of apple cider vinigar when halving a cramp will stop it in about five minutes

Ralph- did you ever get the power steering on that 550 figured out?

Don't know about the vinegar for arthritis- I never let the hard cider hang around long enough to turn into vinegar. . . LOL

I pour it over my feet for athletes foot, leave the drain plug in the shower and pour a cup to pint on and let my feet soak while I shower. Friend of mine told me about this a few years ago. Or even for a heat rash in your private's area. Though this might work for the arthritis, since I haven't noticed it the past few years like it was during the colder months. chris

Yes Dave, you already told me that, and being as there is only one trailer park in Roy, I know where you mean. That put you real close to the south gate at the fort! That sure can get to be a busy road and intersection, at shift change. cars are lined up at the corner in Roy waiting their turn, to get on 507! They call it Joint base Lewis Mc Chord now. Roy never did grow any, but still swells up twice a yr. with the Rodeo. Got to crawl down 507, to keep from running over drunk cowboys, and girls, especially at night. I went down to find my daughter last yr, after she called to say she was too drunk to drive home, and even the roy cops, couldn't find her in that mess of human maggots squirming around. Finally called her cell phone, and had her meet me at the mechanical bull. She definately needed help.Aparently she had successfully rode the Bull, she had a vidio of it.

No Mike, I have the two cyl's mounted, and got the generator-pump back from the Hamiltons, and feel sure that it should work fine. I called larry, at Allstates in Downing Wi, and asked him to send the original brackets , from the super 55 that he took the generator-pump off of. I put the rear angle bracket on the block, and it fits ok, but the casting front bracket, that he sent, eludes me ,as to how it is suposed to fit on the tractor, and the genny. Probably have to drive down to Chehalis, and take another look at your rig.I have been waiting to get healed up from my broken foot, and not doing much, except feeding my cows. Thank God for the WD45,with loader, and large round bales, it sure makes it possible for a cripple, to feed his stock.

Vinegar on a sunburn at the end of the day will start giving you a good tan overnight . If the sunburn is too extreme though ,it will start peeling in a couple days, otherwise will just stay tanned

use 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup pure honey(unprocessed) and balance of water in a 2 liter bottle.drink 12 ounce bottle a day or more as you need. Helps everything.

I don't know if I could take 2 liters of the stuff, but cutting it with water and honey sounds better that those shot glasses of the straight stuff, that I have been doing( with a water chaser) I sure like George Dickles sourmash, a lot better!(over Ice cubes)

But !!!, you've got to get REAL apple cider
vinegar! My wife insists on Hienz, says "It's
the best", but the fine print on the label says
"Artifically flavored", She's dumb about some
things!

No, no, you use hard cider not vinegar...God, that's awful stuff to try to drink.
Put the fresh made(filtered, but not pasteurized) apple juice in a good, new (Used once...for whiskey) whiskey barrel, add about 10 lbs of brown sugar, 2 lbs of raisins, 2 ounces of wintergreen oil and a little yeast and put it down in the basement to let it work off. "Bung" it tightly but put a copper line through the upper bung down into the liquid cider and out into a quart mason jar 3/4ths full of water..and watch the bubbles. When the bubbles nearly stop after about 6-8 weeks try the cider. I hope you remembered put a spigot in the end tap in the barrel. Happy Days and some good sleep at night. that stuff is sneaky like you can't believe...but good for arthritis.
