Removing Stuck John Deere D Wheels

Guys,

I need some advise on new techniques on removing my
wheels. I have steel wheels and they are stuck on the axel.
I've tried heating the hub of the wheel with a large two jaw
puller on the wheel and they didn't even budge. I'm trying to
refrain from removing the axel and axel housing with the wheel
still attached.

Had that problem years ago spline was wore and let wheel hang up broke one hub Had sold wheels hsd to cut other axel and fellow took that way Be careful!!

Use a bottle jack and chains...but soak the daylights out of the spline/hub with PB Blaster or Kroil and if you have to, heat the hub a little with a rosebud torch...But be patient and don't bust the hub and/or severly bend the spokes...it'll come eventually. Hey, it's been on there a long time

I remember once my dad couldn't get one to move on an Oliver 70.

He loosened the clamp bolts, hooked onto a disc, and started discing. He stopped and checked after a few rounds and it had worked itself out to right where he wanted it.
