cub steering leak

my 1951 cub leaks steering fluid badly. Thought I would repair it this winter. What parts do I need to order to fix it and how much time will it
take. Are any special tools needed or tricks to follow.
Thanks
Tom

There's nothing in the steering gear that requires EP gear oil...nothing spinning constantly like a transmission or differential...so replace the fill plug with a grease fitting, and fill 'er full of grease from your grease gun. Besides, the grease will probably keep the seal from leaking further, when the gear housing fills up.
