where is the ignition switch located on a model 600 ford

Under the cowling, behind the dash, left side if I remember right. Or is it on the right, if I have my memory left?

If still factory as your sitting on it it should be just under the hood lip on the left side about straight above the clutch pedal but you have to get down low to see it since the lip of the hood sort of hides it
