Pulled out shaft lock pin cann't reinstall any answers pls

9N 1940 leftside lower transmission side shaft locking pin removed NOW willnot go back in to hole all the way too start threading back into place.

Sorry, Don, dorfs ain't my specialty, you might want to post same question, on the Dorf forum. Oh, and there was a similar thread, I think on the massey forum, lots of dorfs and masseys had similar construction, don't know if it helps, but good luck!
