A tad confused

A gentleman in Colorado has several John Deere tractors for sale in the photo ads. He lists one of them as, "1963 model 430U". I was under the belief that John Deere stopped manufacturing the 30 series in 1960. Is this just a typo or did they continue making this model through 1963? No reflection upon this man is intended, just was wondering.

Might be like the Oliver 1850 that I bought. Got it from the original owner. He said he bought it new in 68. Serial number says it's a 66. Must have sat on the lot for a while.

John Deere dealers, at least in Oklahoma, put on bill of sale the year in which was sold not manufsactured. If the dealer has a 2005 manufactured tractor and sells in 2011, the bill of sale will indicate a 2011 model, not a 2005. James

They were built in 1958,1959, and 1960,but JD considers the 1958 model production as 1959 models so technally they were built in 1959 and 1960.
