massey 135 powerlift

Can any of you 135-150 oweners help me start the process of fixing my 3pt lift. I am new to ranching and farming buissness. Have 11 acres and am trying to put corn seed in to generate some income. but my 3pt lift dose not work the pto dose.I inherited the 135 and I have a parts manual but it does nothing to explain what the problem might be. What diagnosing process can I go thrugh before I physically tear into the lift unit?
 
If your planting 11 acres of corn "to earn extra money"-your wasting your time(and money).By the time you prep the ground,buy seed/fert/chemicals,etc.,buy equipment or hire custom work,you would be better off staying home...But if you want to grow corn for fun/exitement/a new experience-go for it!
 
Get a copy of the owners manual and service manual.

Post back with a picture of the top cover. It could be a few things, incorrect lever position, your response control is too slow (slide the lever down) it's on the tranny case, etc.

Find a repair manual, do some research on M>F> section of this forum.--DON't start tearing into the system until you check control lever thru R.H. cover port--bad to stick, if not used regular, or fluid is contaminated---simple, if you have some direction--hand control lever can move normally, but linkage & roller only follows it thru light spring pressure---1st & simplest thing--goes uphill from here---good luck
 

no remotes, just thetwo leveres on the rt hand lower side of diff. case. It may b low on hydrolic fluid. but I don"t know were the dipstick to check the hydro fluid might be. I did find a dipstick on lowere rt side abouve the differential.
 
Thanks for response but I don"t really understnd what your saying what is RH cover port were is it on the Rh Side. is it near the small dipstick there?
 
not very encourageing but thanks for the input. I already have a contract for 2500+ and acre up to 5 acres for stock seed. for a leaing hybred seed company.
