Everybody on this Forum is a no-good S.O.B

Aha! You have taken the bait! I needed to get maximum hits on this one because it's important. Stubborn and suspicious of modern technology by nature, I nonetheless entered the 21st century when I got this computer. It was a deal-you-can't-refuse; free computer class and a free computer if you completed the course. I have been online for about nine months, 8-3/4 of them on the Forums. I can't believe what a wide variety of knowledge beyond tractors is on display here. And, you're free and easy dispensing this knowledge to rank beginners, that took you years of busted knuckles to learn. We have here mechanics, patriots, philosophers, farmers, electrical contractors, weather forecasters, lawyers... I wish we could gather you all up and displace all the morons in Washington, for this is a true cross-section of the people who really run this country. I also want to say thanks to the people who have helped me with whatever question I have posted, I sometimes forget to thank you. But be assured, I am always grateful for the time you take to respond. I always enjoy reading your posts, not just here, but over in Farmall, Imp.Alley, Crawlers, Combines.... everybody is just so cool. I feel like I know some of you personally, like the guy whose wife calls him a 'small puncture wound' (guess!) Fritz, you've beat me to the punch; I've had those same thoughts rolling around in my head for some time, awaiting an appropriate moment to write down in a post. You are absolutely right; the posters on this board collectively possess more wisdom, knowledge and common sense, along with an inherent inclination to "do the right thing" than you'll find anywhere else. I think anyone would do well to accept this board's consensus on just about any kind of question you could pose and act on that advice. I wish the members of this board could be put in charge of fixing the mess our government is in.

Reminds me of a scene from the movie Patton with George C Scott.
US 3rd Army has just met the Russians in Germany and there is a victory celebration going on.
The Russian General proposes a toast and Patton says "I aint gonna drink a toast with some SOBing Russian."
Ruskie gets a sour face and says "You are a SOB too."
And Patton says; "Well then, from one SOB to another."
And they drink the toast...

I fell for it. You are right about the information that is given. When I have a tractor problem I get on the forums and start looking. Most of the time I find the answer. Merry Christmas

Saw the Hollywood rendition of that moment in history. Saw another that was apparently a real BW photo of him (side some what to the rear...no private parts) relieving himself in the Rhine just before they crossed it on their way to Berlin.

I just about didn't click on it, afraid what I was going to read. There is just a bunch of swell guys on here. I thought only things broke down in my world, but there is always someone thats already had this problem. You all have a Merry Christmas
