I love seeing different parts of the country as the seasons change. Had I not found this site years ago I would not know what I was missing out on. Here in central Iowa the scenery doesn't change much, corn- black dirt-beans-black dirt-corn. Keep those pictures coming and Merry Christmas.

Nice pictures , thanks for sharing the photo's. We are now receiving the same type of snow fall here on the east coast of Canada. cheers, Murray

Beautiful countryside. Are the hills and mountains privately owned? Could you ride around on an atv and explore?

Beautiful country you live in.Somehow the snow always looks better in a picture from somewhere else. Thanks for sharing.

I've always liked Montana- always "fresh and clean", no matter the season. Never understood what "Big Sky Country" meant when I was younger, but now it makes sense.

Thanks for posting. Now go feed the cows- they can't eat snow, ya know. . .

Actually what your looking around those peaks is the Tribal Wilderness on the Flathead Indian Reservation and it"s the home to the biggest concentration of grizzly bears (grizzlies per square mile) in the lower 48. You can go into that area with a tribal permit(any one can get one) between November 15th til July 15th but no motorized travel is allowed. The wilderness area starts about 1- 1/4 from the lane entrance where my wife is standing.

The shot looking at our calves in the pasture has the National Bison Range in the far background.

I lived in WA for 37 years. There a lot of country there that"s easy on the eyes too.

But I have to admit, there"s nothing like Montana and her people!

Opps. Gotta" go feed!

No idea how far you are out of Kalispell, but gatta buddy out ther, and he loves it. If Kalispell is anything near your place, I can see why!

Merry Christmas to you and yours--

Now I know why he loves it. He just moved back up there last year. Was National Guard, married a girl from up there, came back down here. They were getting ready to return up there when she passed. So he moved back up there with the kids anyway. Fool loves snowmobiling and four wheeling. Loving retirement even without Nancy, but I know he wishes she was still with him.
