I have a 1941 Allis WC with a Delco Remy 1111411 Distributer. Just trying to get the correct points for it. I thought that WC and WD were the same but I think I may have a retrofit dist. on this tractor because the WD points are bigger than what I have. Any help would be great. Merry Christmas. Jeff

Is it possible to make a smaller point set work. The reason I ask is I was at Auto Value and they had a set that when I looked at it they were a bit larger than what I have now but that is what the app. guide said was right for the 1111411.

Two issues. If the application is correct and they fit, use them. It is just a switch. Second issue is timing. The ignition timing will be off with a different set of points in it due to the probability that the rubbing block is in a slightly different location. Set the static (stopped) timing before starting it. Jim

Its not the model of the tractor its the dist. Simple just take that number and the old points along it works for me when youhave the new ones along beside the old ones you are good to go.

My book says 1111411 is replacement dist for letter series Farmalls. Points are Neihoff # DR1HV.
Remember Ferguson TO20 uses the same points, cap, rotor and condenser. Delco dist. # is different but above parts are the same.
