I am working on a ihc 300 utility. The tractor set for several years and the hydraulics did not work. I changed the fluid tuned up the engine and got it running well. I still had no hydraulics. I removed the pump and tore it apart and it was worn pretty bad. Ordered new pump and installed. Fired it up and worked air out and everything started working. power steering works. rear draw bar works front bucket tilt works. but the bucket lift will not work. Irebuilt the control valves for the bucket tilt and lift with new o rings. lift cylinders still wont work. lift cylinders are single acting and everytime i take a line loose i get alot of air out with the fluid. there are no plugs installed on the cylinders to bleed the air out. any Ideas?

There is a switch on the end of the valve that selects single or double acting output. That switch has a roll pin through it that turns in a sheet metal clip. Be sure it is set to S for single acting, and not D for double acting. Also make sure the reservoir is full when the bucket is down. Jim

I took the hoses off of the tilt bucket and put them on the lift cylinders and it lifted the bucket up using the bucket tilt valve instead of the lift valve. Does any one know where I can get another valve?
