sitting in the south.

left MI sunday am. saw family in IN for a few hours.Made it to Elizabeth Town KY that night. Had stopped at lots of antique shops and stuff.Monday morning we opened the Jim Beam distillery tours. More antique shopping. Sitting in South Pittsburg watching the rain. Thinking of running over to chattanooga or manchester today. Family has to work so we are on our own.Have a good week all.

I like Chattanooga. Go see if you can make it through fat man squeeze or go see ruby falls. If it's raining check out the Confedrama. (Pardon my spellin'.)

Lucky pup! You came right by and didn't even pick me up and take me with you?
Sure wish I was there. If the weather's decent when you head home, you should head up 127 to go home. Take it up to just north of Albany Ky,then you can head east through Monticello and Summerset back over to 75 and Renfro Valley. Beautiful drive. You wouldn't regret it.

Go to hillsboro to brothers implement take a hour and look at the merchandise, used to have Russell-mason on this in decherd if you are being adventuress go on up to eagleville farm sales and service and then call cody whether you are interested in buying or not plenty of unique tractors and parts to peruse.

Not sure how long you are here, but if you have time and like NASA things, head down AL HWY 72 for a little under 2 hours to the Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. You can see a Saturn V rocket and Space Shuttle up close and personal along with a lot of other pieces of equipment.

The aquarium is very nice... while you are at the Confedarama, you can check out the Incline Railway (and ultimately Point Park) which is very near there... I grew up there... Some days, I wish I was still there...

Sorry I didnt stop,it was so early I just didnt think you would want to get u early just to go for a road trip.Have seen a few tractors around. My uncle works at the scrap yard here in S. Pittsburg and showed me a Farmall C,later model with hydrolics, pto with little pully off to the side. Talked to the owner of the yard. I believe tomarrow I will close the deal for it. It needs a front tire and wiring around the distribitor. The old boy that brought it in had brought other stuff in and my uncle and him have talked. When he brought this in he told uncle that he had used it to pull a sm. wagon of hay into the goat yard. The goats ignored the hay and ate the wiring. Brakes, clutch, and everything look to work. Looking to get it for $400. Will know tomarrow.
Tomarrow we plan to go to Ala. to a unclaimed baggage store. We also like to hit antique stores. Then we are going to chattanooga to see the cable car and some other stuff. If all works out we plan to go up 75 and hit some of the stuff you all have mentioned. Hoping to head home around the 27th. Will keep up with you on this lap top.

Fall Creek Falls State Park is north of you. It's a really neat place to visit when the water is running fast. There are a couple different water falls that are incredible. I was there last October when they were down a foot of water. I had the chance to actually stand on the water fall rock, right at the edge and look down 110 feet to the pool. The most I walked was maybe 100 feet from the parking lot to the overlooks, so you don't have to go hiking far to see it all.

Tuesday I was through Louisville, and across the bottom of Indiana to go to Ownesboro, KY. The rain coming back was terrible. Just a gloomy day all day. I made the trip out and back to Western PA in 1 day. I left at 4:45AM and was home at midnight. 1096 miles in one day... I'm having trouble walking today!
