I'm wondering is you use any sort of usage monitor on your computer. I don't know if you've got an unlimited Internet account - or with a monthly cut-off. My Millenicom plan limits me to 20 Gigs per month and I doubt I'll ever exceed that. The satellite Hughes.net system I got rid of was 300 MB per day (basically 9 Gigs per month). So I doubt I'll ever have a problem with 20 GB - but with my little kid using a computer you never know.

I called Millenicom and they suggested I download a free program called Rokario. But when I went to their Website and started the download - the name of the program was different and I chickened out. I don't like downloading and installing programs I know nothing about.
 
Okay, its been like 8 months since I used my Novatell 760 (will start again next week though) butttttttttt when I used it and signed up with Virgin Mobile for their "Unlimited" $40 per month plan, WHEN YOU LOGGED ON IT HAS ITS OWN BUILT IN DATA METER that keeps track of your useage to date.

HOWEVER it says "unlimited" but after some time I got an e mail that says after you use 5 GB they will slowwwwwww downnnnnnnn your download rate to discourage too much use

HOWEVER I used it big time and never hit 5 GB although I did get into the fours in a months use

Keep warm up there, Im headed SOUTH next week, my 760 in hand (I mean in the laptops USB lol)

I can't get the unlimted plan here. It runs on Sprint towers here in the Northeast. My 20 Gig "advanced" plan runs on Verizon towers.

I read through the rules for the unlimited plan and its says if you use over 50 Gigs per month - they might send investigators out to see you and find out what you're using it for. Up here, the "Unlimited Plan" uses a Sierra Wireless 598U modem - not the Novatel 760.

With my Novatel 760 - it came with software to monitor usage but only works if the USB Modem is directly plugged into the computer. It will not work when using a wireless modem and multiple computers.
