3/4 air impact wrench

i have a couple of 3/4 air impact guns that quite working so i tore into one of them cleaned it all up inside nothing really looked worn out.but there is one oring about maybe 1 inch in diameter i didnt replace and it still wont run the air just bypasses out the exhaust you suppose the oring is bad .

Did you check that the vanes on the rotor move freely, are clean and oiled. I"ve taken some apart that were frozen in there slots, then the air just goes right through without turning the rotor. If the o-ring wasn"t broken or badly wore, it should still work.

yes the vanes and everything else is free i cleanes everything up reallt good with wd-40.
