HAY and Money thief!!!!!

If you go to haybarn.com and check out the known scammer list it is amazing how many lowlifes tried to take advntage of desperate farmers in the drought areas..In fact, if you are buying hay or transport online it would be a very good idea to check there first....

They can and probably will make paying restitution part of the sentencing if he's convected but unless they find the money they farmers are not going to see as this guys sits in prison.

Really sad the number of people who will take advantage of someone in need.

Ironically James Darin Hoffman isn't on Haybarn's scam list

Wasn't satisfied just double/tripling his prices like the others.............

Kinda off topic but it reminds me of the cowboys
caught stealing cattle. In the end though the
cowboys were acquitted. Being unfamiliar with lawyer
terms one cowboy asked "what does that mean?" "That
means" the lawyer replied, "You can go free, there
was not enough evidence to prove guilt" then the
cowboy asked "does that mean we get to keep the
cattle?"

I'd like to add a thought to the issue of double/triple the regular prices.
I nonetheless had (past tense, they are all gone now) about 72 bales after cutting this July. I always have my (local) regulars and most of them I like a lot/we help each other out/ etc. and therefore give them a break. I always load for free if needed, anyone's hay.
I got a call from someone that was referred to me by a mutual acquaintance and he wanted to buy 20 bales after I quoted him what I thought was a fair price (50). I only had 10 bales left unspoken for and he got them. 3 weeks thereafter, another acquaintance bought hay for almost double (plus 40)from said guy that looked like "mine" (twine and pattern). Granted, I had raised the price 10 myself in those 3 weeks, but why would I not want to be near the price that is current local rate? Maybe a few $ cheaper, but I certainly don't want to enable and create "middlemen". I think it is somewhat a dilemma for some like myself, while others just view it as a capitalistic opportunity driven by the market, supply and demand.
Don't have the answer, folks. Ralph.
