I met my wife in 1962.I had no ideal at the time that we would be together for 45 years. It was her eyes that changed my mind. She had a way of looking at me like I was someone special. Those eyes would always tell me if I had done right,or if I was in the doghouse. She passed away on May15 of 2011.She had cancer all though her body. She always wanted to be an organ donor.Doctor said it was not possible.Than a nurse asked if I had heard of the Old Dominion Eye Foundation.Tomorrow I go to Roanoe to hang an orament on a tree in her memory. Two people can now see again because of her eyes

My thoughts are with you during this first christmas season without her. The gift of eyesight gives someone else a chance to see the beauties in this world. Jim

Yes, those eyes can speak louder than words. Please accept my condolences. I went through the same thing March 2010. They discovered cancer in February and she died on March 27, just ten days after her 62nd birthday. We enjoyed 43 and a half years together. It's still hard to come in and see that empty chair.
