Tractor back blade liners.

I have read in the past about non-stick liners for back blades used for snow removal.

I don't find the price too bad considering the aggravation sticking can cause.

My question is----how are the liners shipped? One company states by UPS. Are the liners coil rolled along their length and in a small box? Unrolled and in a long box like a windshield might be? Or?

Just contemplating shipping cost for such as it might make a nice Christmas present for my brother.

Thanks

The county snowplows around here use PAM cooking spray to prevent the sticking. On my front blade, I spray it liberally with silicon spray lube. Makes a huge difference.

I have found tha ta good coat of paint and then a good coat of a good auto wax works well but the only thing it that you may have to paint it a couple times a year depending on how much you use it and what type of drive you might be doing

Thanks for the replies.

I round about asked him if his 8N could handle a wider blade thinking that I would take him mine. He didn't think his tractor would life the extra weight as mine is a heavy duty model and also told that a wider blade causes the tractor to slide.

In other words he needs some wheel ballast.

I guess he has fought his snow removal for over 10 years so I'll let him continue with what he feels works--doing what he can and hiring someone else for the really deep stuff.
