OT not even close

I've posted here for awhile, and most of you have read and responded to my post. I realize that at times, I am aggressive by some accounts. Assertive by my account. I do think highly of most of y'all, and I do try to "Watch my mouth", but still, I do argue, sometimes. On those occassions when I disagree, or speak aggressively, do I upset any of you? I sit here in my old school desk chair thinking that disagreement is a part of life, and no one takes it personally, yet several people that I know off the computer have shared that at times I can be a tiny bit abrasive. Okay, they never said a "Tiny Bit". I added that part. Well, If I have crossed any lines with my assertiveness/Aggression, I deeply appologize. I do respect you guys, and I don't mean anything personal by what I say. I have strong opinions, yet, I don't have any opinion against anyone here.

Agh don't worry about it,Some people have thicker skins than others.... Just be sure you around with good ideas when us guys are up to our eyes balls in hydraulic oil! Hey if you like - disagreements? debates? go down the the 'tractor tales' forum. Post about an intelligent, interesting farm related subject, and you will have-? an intersting evening...

Bob....yer an A hole....the only hope is that you accept it and DON'T change!.....from anothe A HOLE!!!!

I guess if folks don`t like you arguing, they shouldn`t argue with you. I think I have disagreed with you a time or two, but I am here to learn other peoples points of view, even if I don`t agree with them. Keep up the good work.

That was your first mistake (apologizing)............. The folks that get em in a wad need to be apologizing to you for not accepting you the way you are..... I attempted to stick up for someone on here a little while back but he wasn't smart enough to realize it and got upset....... Some folks just need that hurt feelings "fix" and don't care if they get it from you or me....

I agree with dave2's little piece of wisdom...relax man.Nothing on here is worth getting upset about..

If people have a low self esteem they will always take comments as being against them and be offended. I try to look at it like "that sounded bad but I'm sure he didn't mean it that way" Like the old lady that could not hear too well. When she thought somebody was talking about her and could not hear she said "I just imagine they were saying something nice"

FIRST, Im NOT talking about you, I'm not even sure who you are?? are you the person I consider a friend and very knowledgeable (we usually agree) and have called "Mayor Bob" or are you another Bob??? My observations are based on years of hanging out here. Regardless who you are, these are my thoughts and opinions:

Ive been on here for yearssssssss, Ive seen them come and Ive seen them go. Everyone is entitled to their opinions here, some are professional and educated, while others are less so, and others perhaps just plain ignorant or dead wrong. BUT WHOSE TO SAY OR JUDGE ??? Not me

It seems some people are maybe thin skinned or get defensive and/or want to argue and attack if someome DARES to post an opinion different from theirs. (Just who do they think they are, Ive spoken so others (peasants and ignoramus's) bow down and accept my superiority LOL)

When my opinion is different, I try to be respectful of the others but then in a logial systematic engineers approach, explain my position and defend it, thats just how (engineer, farmer, used truck and tractor dealer, and attorney) Im wired, I cant help myself lol

HOWEVER as they say "you can tell when a person is loosing an argument, thats when they resort to personal atatcks'

Im here to help NOT TO FIGHT and Im not into personal attacks if a person has a different opinion, but have observed theres a few here who just cant stand it if a person has a differnt opinion and get all up in arms (maybe too thin skinned??) and want to pick a fight or make personal attacks.

As Ive posted here often, I like tractor gents n farmers cuz most are good old fashioned traditional conservative Christians but God Bless and I welcome all others regardless.

So it getting close to CHRISTmas so Merry CHRISTmas to all n God Bless REGARDLESS if your opinion is same or different from mine, I will try NOT to personally attack you if it is, and ask you to give me and others the same consideration

I have always concidered my self a decent person,but not real smart.I have never been offended by anyone that I actually dont know.I have the write to read this forum or not.I have been offended by love ones.My thoughts on a open disscusion forum is you say what you think,with out be littling anyone and continuing on.What happen to the days when people would argue or fight and still be friends

Come to think of it,Peabody was the dog who always took Boy to see Mr Knowitall when he had a question. Maybe he's just saying I know where to GET the answers. Yea,that's it! I feel MUCH better now!

It can be kind of a hoot reading some of these comments. I always figured opinions are kind of like butt holes. Everyone has one, and each one has just a little different wrinkle to it---

If everyone on this forum agreed we wouldn't learn anything new. I like to read most posts and if I don't like one that's tough for me. But your apology is granred as far I am concerned. Len
