You know, Gentlemen...we can grouse all we want about this, but we REALLY NEED to actually DO something. I STRONGLY suggest that you contact your Reps. and Senators...in a civil toned letter...explaining how you feel about this...how it might affect YOU/YOUR FARM...tractor operators...etc.

The National Grange...and I'm sure other farm organizations also...is on this, but our politicians need to hear directly from us.

Here may be some help in that matter: http://www.congress.org/communicate

Thanks...Rick

I dont own a farm but my 10 year old son WILL be taught the value of a dollar by having to work on my land. My son will, stack firewood, cut grass, rake leaves, take out the garbage, etc. I will pay him too.....I will likely buy him a small used lawn tractor to perform these chores. If some buffoon in the congress wants to stop me then let them try. It should be the same way on a farm, teach your son to milk cows, stack hay, feed the animals, use the tractor, hay bailer, seed drill. I would think that If you own a farm then you need insurance to cover workers comp.
