Saw what appears to be a K-1 in a children's short movie called "The Doughnuts" (1963). There's no way to get a real good look at it, the resolution is terrible. The only thing you can really see is a chrome ornament on the hood, above where the Triple Diamond would be. Did any K's or KB's have any chrome in this area? Thanks, Fritz
 
The KB's, built from '46 thru '49, had a chrome ornament on the front of the hood, as well as a chrome hood ornament on the top of the front. I suppose that after wartime restrictions on chrome disappeared, even IH decided their trucks could use a little "bling"...
