OT old fashioned deer hunt and sausage making

Yesterday I harvested a deer with my great great grandfathers 1892 winchester 32/20. I used bullets from the 1940s. Had always wanted to do this with the old rifle. Got home and made some sausage in an old old stuffer.

That"s neat, venison is good anytime but taking one with an heirloom rifle is cooler, dad gave me his Remmington .270 pump he bought new in "68 last year. Not near as old as yours though!

Beautiful old Winchester! I have a S&W K model 32-20 which is pretty rare as most were .38 specials aor .38 S&W. I kind of always wondered how that old caliber would perform.

Ah yes...a man after my own heart. I put one down with my .38-55 model 94 this year. Good to know that a hundred years later those old guns still accomplish what they were built for.

We made 65 lbs last night. We used some sausage mix from bass pro and academy sports. Cooked some this morning and too me the spices need to be doubled. Would be nice to have some homemade recipes.
