Tractor Seat ID

Husband wants to know if anyone knows if this seat would have been orignial to a Farmall Regular (1931). It has no IHC markings, nor markings of any kind for that matter. It is what came on our tractor - but the original channel piece that goes into the cast iron bracket had been replaced with some odd thing. He bought a channel/spring at a junkyard, so that is back to the way it should be. THANKS! *Hope I did not post this twice - didn't seem to go through the first time, so tried it again.

I don't "think" so. I'd call that an implement seat. Maybe Emerson but seats were vendor made items. It would be period correct on your Farmall and would look nice on it. The standard Farmall seat had round holes. It was the smaller seat, not the Large one you see on F20.

Thanks so much, Nebraska Cowman - really appreciate it. Man, I wish we had all the knowledge in our heads that some of you fella's have...but we're workin' on it.

AWESOME! Will have to remember to share that with my dad... he's 83 and has a great sense of humor (you have to have, to raise 6 kids). Anyway, he'll love it. Have a great day and as always thanks for your wisdom AND your wit!
