Mystic engine oil

Was looking at the mystic brand engine oil in the white 2 gallon jugs has anybody used this and is it good oil. Also who would bottle this oil?

The company I contract for specs Mystic for their food and medical equipment that they build, and uses it company wide in their manufacturing equipment. I have several pallets stored in my warehouse of gear oil, spray lubes, and grease, all food grade of course.

I've got no problem buying my oil from Citgo,
Mystic, or Hugo Cheves. I'd rather keep my money
in the Americas than send it to Arabia!

I've used Mystik Greases for 15 years or so with good results. Early on it said Mystik Lubricant Company on the packages, then it said Mystik Lubricants by Citco. Now it's back to Mystik Lubricants. It doesn't say anything about Citco on the Mystik site either.

I can't say a whole lot about it other than once upon a time, Grandad and uncles used it on the farm.. seems like it was a purple and white barrel.. had various "internal parts" painted on the drum as well..

They now use Cen-Pe-Co.. I don't know what caused the change.. But, I do know when dad bought the skid-steer in 1998 he recommended dad buy Mistik, and they had been using Cen-Pe-Co by that time..

They may have switched simply because they lost the vendor.. I could try to ask em if it'd help you out. All I can honestly say is in my lifetime, I can't ever remember them losing a engine in anything.
