Yard Machine tiller

some one has a Yard machine tiller for sale. said it has been repaired the sping $300 but the tillers stop moving. engine and tires still go. does any one know what problem is?
I look up part book see what needs work on and wow it"s going be alot work taking it apart and together again! do those yard machine last long?

it"s selling for $125 should I get it? or RUN? OR make offer.. I know I do alot repairs and fixed some tillers before. this one will keep me busy!

Typical homeowner junk that ends up costing more to fix than to replace with another piece of "new" junk. Just about everything made for the "consumer" nowadays is that way. Don't care what brand you buy.

If you're looking for something more durable, look into a Grillo or BCS walk-behind tractor. They're Italian made and quite expensive, but your grandkid will be running it long after you're gone.

I fought a few junkers -yardmans, craftsnmans, even troy bilts - before I bought my first BCS. I kept upgrading (never junked them, just resold them for as much or more than I bought 'em for) until I got to my current machine - a BCS 850 with 10 HP Kohler Diesel and 30 inch tiller box. I especially like the rotary plow they offer. This thing is just about unstoppable.

shaft is broken. If you 'd like to learn mechanics, this is the project for you. Not extremely hard but tedious.

Run away from anything made by Yard Machine.
