I bought the sign because the guy needed to sell it. But i want to resell it. that is why i want to know what it is worth?

That's one of those items that works good on ebay. One of a kind and many will want.

List it on there and let the buyers determine what is worth. Set your minimum at what you would take for it and see what happens.

I have no idea what it is worth. The old shop I worked at for many years still has that style sign hanging out there but all the lights are broken out long ago. When boss built new shop, IH made new owner of building cover the sign or take it down so they covered it but now days it just hangs there in the open. I would love to have it but am sure it would cost way too much to repair it , let alone get the big heavy thing down and hung again (on my garage).

The semi-official IH site is www dot redpowermagazine dot com/forums. I'd try there, too.

The neon really "makes" these things, and the fact that its brand new sure won't hurt. I think you'll get some serious $$ for it, but you gotta advertise in the right places.

I'd contact American Pickers and Pawn Stars and Hardcore pawn. The neon light is an easy fix and you might get 5 or 6 thousand for it from the right collector..

Maybe not a bullet hole but where the neon goes in is rusted a little. They bring big money even all shot up.

You can't post it for sale at Red Power Forum, but if you list it elsewhere another person can mention it there with a link to the listing.

You can post pics there and ask what it's worth but don't mention it's for sale.
If someone asks you can say you might be interested in selling it.

Edit: I forgot to add that the IH Toys, Memorabilia & Collectibles part of the forum will draw them out like flies.

That will get you a very large stack of paper with dead presidents pictures on them. Ebay or other online type of auction will get you the biggest stack. That said I'll give you $100 cash, I have my boots on, the truck is running, I just need your address.
