Oh so your on KP well I would say sorry to you but hey I can not understand you.
I got up this morning and the first thing I did was pull the turkey or of the fridge and get it into the oven. I then started on the stuffing and other goodies. Then loaded it all up in the car and went up tp my moms house where we ate. I did probably 75% of the dinner and my mom the other 25% and I have been doing that for decades now and will do it next month on the 25th also

thats really good that you live close to her, This is the first time in a lot of years that we cooked a holiday dinner at home.we went to the nursing home to eat with mom for 2 years and before that we went to her handicapped apartment and had dinner with her there, this is the first holiday since she is gone, so glad to hear you stay close to your mom,that is great,... Had thanksgiving dinner today at the Best Western in town. Soon to be ex-Mom inlaw invited me along to have dinner with the family (My family is mostly gone). Very nice on her part, I always like MIL, too bad I can't get along with her daughter anymore. Somewhat awkward? well yeah, but pass up a free feed? H3ll NO!

Ya my mom lives very close. Back before my dad died I inherited 33 acres of the 40 he got back in 1975. My mom and sister have what is left of that with my mom having 5.5 acres so she os very close if you do not drive that is. She is on one end of what was the 40 and me on the other. I have since bought another 11 so I have 44 acres of my own. My mom is getting up there in years and still lives on her own. On her next birthday she will be 88.

We drove to my brothers home for Thanksgiving we're in Omaha Ne he's in Branson W MO Him and my SIL did all the cooking.Good meal great time with my brother and MO is beautiful country he actually lives in Mark Twain National Forest.
