Texans don't need plates

Ya that is part of it. Get stopped with expired tags 200.00 fine + surcharge for 3 years + equivolent of SR22 insurance. so it really didnt get left off. This has been on books for years just as same fine for expired inspection sticker and on proof of financel responciably wiitch is carrys same fines and no insurance ticket stays on driving record for life same as DUI/DWI.

I wouldn't even consider pushing that issue. The only vehicle I have that does not require plates is my car dolley. Just renewed the farm trailer, 6 bucks so no complaint there. Truck tags are starting to get pricey though, close to 80 bucks a year now. Brother licensed his at my place in Texas on his last visit, said he saved 700 bucks. Geez California is expensive.
