snow in MN.

Freezing rain.....I'd rather have snow, even heavy snow than this confounded ice. Oh yeah, NW Iowa....Cherokee county.

(quoted from post at 18:03:21 11/19/11) Coming down and heavy...your area??

I heard Ashland WI has about a foot from this storm so far, also Hinkley MN has about a foot also........

Nothing from the storm today. I'm about 90 miles north of Duluth. We do have about 2" from Thursday and Friday on the ground, but I guess the snow you're talking about will stay south of us. Supposed to be warm (for us) pn Thanksgiving.

No snow down here in n.e. Tx. Supposed to be unusually warm tomorrow - nearly 80. Then a good chance of rain Mon & Tues. Really need the rain. News said we are 15+ inches behind.

Forecast for Turkey day is great. 70 & sunshine.

Snow huh? Well that explains why every 3rd vehicle I saw today at the bottom of Texas had Minnesota plates on it!

They warned us for worse but it looks like it fizzled. Maybe 3/4" here in Minneapolis. I did have 4X4 engaged on the freeway coming home from E St Paul this aft as it started with freezing rain.
It's late enough in the year that it could stay on the ground till April. First on last off-

Do some research on 4x4 on road. In SD on I-90 during blizzrds the majority of the "lost control" accidents are 4x4 and the 2wd cars are the minority. 4x4 should never be used on road over 30 mph.
