I have an old Cummins straight 6 diesel thinking maybe 1960's era. It is in a Hough H 60 D wheel loader.
There was a line that went to the very bottom of the diesel injector pump--not sure if it was a fuel line or an air line. I removed it--ya stupid move--I think the line went to a push pull valve in the cab for cold winter starts.
Now on startup it appears the fuel has drained from the pump and it is difficult to start unless I give it a very short snort of either while spinning the engine. Before removing this line it didn't need any help to start.
Where does this line go?????????????????????? thanks
