Hope I don't encounter anything like that this morning, cripes he'd have enough room to dance around in a couple of my stands if he got to the top.
They sure have a keen sense of smell, no doubt something up there was worth investigating, though for the most part I thought they fear humans, except if you encounter them with young. Had he got mad, he could have ripped that stand right down!
There was a 250 lb one of those across the road not that long ago, lock and load .... and wheres the mace.

That guy in the video has more nerve than I do. When that bear reached for the first rung, I would have been making a lot of noise, gun, bow or shouting. I have never seen a tree stand with enough room for a hunter and a bear.
