Couple planting pics

Well i think thats the summer planting over and done with for this year. 3 days over the weekend to finsh putting the sudan in and to harrow and roll it. Once its been harrowed and rolled it leaves it flat like a table top makes haymaking a breeze as well as helping to stop the moisture loss as well. Spent last two days spraying corn thats at 5 leaf stage and is looking for a bit of rain

Wish it were spring again here in Indiana! Instead Average low temps are getting ready for below freezing as the norm. All the leaves blown off the trees; makes for an extra "seemingly" long extra winter season! Had the first snowfall about a week ago. About 1/3 inch of snow, & windchill's well below freezing. It was 70 yesterday, & will be around 46 for a high on wednesday.

Good luck on Your crops!

If I didn't know better, I would think I was looking at pics of farms around here in my area of west Tx. Especially with those windmills in the background.

You never said so but,are you in Australia? One of my past times on the Computor is to tour "You Tube Australia Trucking Road Trains" I really enjoy these short videos of the Road Trains at work. Are or do road trains allowed to travrel the highways and byways in your area? I know they are banned in some commercial and residential areas.I"ve always had an interest in Trucks, especially Kenworths and Macks and some of the ones in Australia I have never seen here in the states. At one time or another I have owned a "65 B61 and a "67 B75 Macks and a Kenworth K125 also. I had a Diamond T as a back up but it had a rubber suspension and was a real pain [in the back] to operate.Any way just thought I would ask,JH

Thanks or the photos, looks like fertile soil.
In the Northern Hemisphere we are so engrossed with the coming winter that we tend to overlook the fact that it is Spring in the Southern Hemisphere, so there are crops growing somewhere year 'round.
Hope you and yours have a fruitful season.

John iam near Toowoomba south east Queensland Australia. Its proberly 20 mile from here to where road trains are allowed to operate. But They are only the 2 trailer ones you have to get out in Western Queensland, Northern Territory and then you will find the 3 & 4 trailer rigs
