9 n firing order

I just found this in the archives.
"JR..........firing order of 4-nipple frontmount distributor is 1,2,4,3 CCW.
This means:
sparkie #1 is connected to nipple #1 at 10 o'clock
sparkie #2 is connected to nipple #2 at 7 o'clock
pretty straight foward right? NOW PAY ATTENTION it getts tricky here
sparkie #4 is connected to nipple #3 at 4 o'clock
sparkie #3 is connected to nipple #4 at 1 o'clock
therefore firing order is 1,2,4,3 CCW, isn't that amazing?........respectfully,"

HAHAHA, I like that one....

Cylinders are numbered 1234 but the firing order is 1243 and if you have a good brand cap the cylinder is marked right on the cap so look at the cap and it will have 1,2,3,4 on it and you hook the plug wires to the number of that cylinder to that nipple on the crab cap

Here's how you wire the cap with No1 near the radiator. Hal
