Them older trucks can keep a person busy, if the previous owner did not stay ahead of the maint. Looks like that should have been changed back in the late 90's.
 
Good grief, is there no end to the stuff that Chevy needs? I figured you would be putting the finishing touches on the wax job by now. Does the radio work?

Kinda fun brinin' the old sow back from the brink tho. :>)

Ah modern technology . Give me a good old carb and a set of points OR a Cummins with a mechanical pump , something i can fix.
 
'Bout once a day the darned thing was trippin' the check engine lite and the tail pipe was running black.

Knew I had to replace that sensor before I put in the new catalytic converter.

Slowly but surely, I'm gettin' 'er back from being a "beater" to a nice road-worthy old pickup. :>)

Downside is that this little "project" is really starting to run into some serious money. Sure is fun tho.

Made the mistake of going to work for Ford. Then I drove a Powerstroke.

This rest is history, I guess. I just like the 'beefy' build on the things. :>)
