Disregard the ugly guy next to the deer. This is the 9 pointer I got Mondays evening with my bow. The swing boom on the truck sure comes in handy for loading deer etc on to the trcuk

The boy came and got one of the pickups this morning to go haul one in. He's got a guy from Sweden here hunting for a few days and the guy got an 8 point after just 20 minutes out.
The boy got a heck of a nice 10 a few weeks ago.

Old is just a handle and comes form 2 places. 1 was from a pony we had that we called Old Coal and I just dropped the Coal and #2 comes from where I learned most of the stuff I know about tractor and that was from people who where a lot older then me and most have long since died

Nice looking deer , BIL really wanted me to go back to Mo. for deer season but just couldn t.
We have a farm south west if El Darado Springs ,Mo. Pretty good hunting also . Just unable to go.

Ya this one was not one of the biggest deer I have taken over the years and sure not the big boy out there. One guy I have hunting here this year said he saw a big one that had 12 plus points and may have had as many as 15 plus but he and the deer had a stare down so the guy could not get a shot off. Oh and by the way I did throw a stick at it. It is called an arrow LOL

Nice buck... Heck they look just like they do here in Pa. LOL
I have seen one buck 3 times now, but he is only a big 6 pointer and our hunting area is an 8 point or bigger area. They have different point restriction across the state. We have 14 tags for this year, but I doubt we will fill them all. I would like to see about 30 deer removed from the area, but I say that every year and it doeesn't happen. Pa hunters are less and less each year. We eat a couple and donate the rest to the food banks. Good luck filling your tags.

Well technically speaking a bolt since I use a cross bow when I bow hunt due to having a bad shoulder and not being able to hold or pull a normal bow well any more
