House rattled pretty good last night from the earthquake in Ok. and we are in south central Ks. Not something I'm used to living in this area.
 
I live near Dallas and slept through it. I did experience a 5.5 earthquake one time in Southern Illinois. I will never forget that. It was quite a shake up. I looked outside at a pickup on the street that was rocking side to side almost to the point where the tires would leave the ground.
 
cwl, where are you? i am in oxford ks between winfield and wellington. i live in a over 100yr old 2 story house. was in the restroom on the john, kind of a helpless feeling. the whole house shook and quivered. my college age son was upstairs in his room, he said it really shook up there. this was a first for me . lowell

I'm about 3 miles east and a little south of Oxford.

Live 3 west of Winfield Ks. Shook the house pretty hard. First earthquake for me, don't need another one. Friend in Oklahoma said it was just the Okies celebrating a win over Kansas.
 
I'm in Lindsborg and felt it. Didn't have any idea what it was, but it felt like I was sitting on a water bed. It was quite an odd sensation.
 
SW Mo., between Joplin and Springfield. The boys woke us up, said the house shook and the ceiling fan was swinging back and forth. No damage i know of.
