"new" tractor is missing (has the wrong one) fuse box cover.... Was at the local dealer and asked for a new one which is unavailable and the guy said come back and see him in a couple days...I did and he gave me one that he had laying around at home, thanked him profusely, stuck it in my coat pocket and left.. FF a couple days and I was trimming hooves. Bent too far and the thing fell out. Before I realized it, I heard a familiar crack. Horse stepped on it and broke it in several pieces. Bit my tongue, picked up the pieces and put them in my pocket. FF to today, got out the pieces and a tube of superglue. Got it all back together and had to fill a small space. Got done and the thing was stuck to my hand. Finally got it loose just to find two fingers stuck together. Had to get the wife to cut them apart. She was laughing so hard that I'm lucky to still have a hand I think.........

Acetone...(fingernail polish remover) will disolve superglue.
Bet yer Wife has some...
I allways keep some around when using superglue, helps to avoid some of those embarasing moments..

dave2,
Wow!,4:30 fri.....er!...Saturday morn. No,I'm not drunk(haven't drank in a couple of years)Just that sometimes I don't sleep too well so I browse ytmags' forums looking for something to laugh at.You made my day...er..night..er..whatever the heck it is.
Sounds like me. Sometimes I feel like that fella that used to be on the Flintstones once in a while. Always had that dark cloud hanging over his head and it followed him everywhere."Badluck Slephrock" or something like that.Yep! thats me!
Just nice to know I'm not the only one!
Thanks for the laughs! Maybe,I can sleep a little now that its almost time to get up.

We used to use superglue for surface plate setups. I kept a xtra large bottle of fingernail polish remover in my toolbox. It made me feel special....

DAVE, YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY, now that I've stopped laughing. Thanks for sharing. Sounds just like me...lol.

Were reworking some plastic pieces at work one night when one of the guys went too the bathroom. Needless to say his hand still had super glue on it and he kinda stuck his self. Had to take him some loctite remover and boy did he catch it from us.
