Or 11.2x32.....Anyone got a set (or one) handy? Need to know a close weight of one or a set and if one (or both) would fit in a box 12x12 inch and 5 1/2 inch deep.
If someone could eyball one, I'd sure appreciate it. Cheapest thing I can find here is about $700 for a set (new, you just don't find them used).... Much cheaper if I can have my buddy mail me a set.

Thanks, Dave

I dont think even a single side would fit in that small of a box. I bought a very light weight set last year and they were overflowing a 5 gallon bucket (one side). The heavy set I bought 2 years ago took 2 buckets per side although it didnt totally fill the second bucket.

If you know the length and width you need, a longer set could be weighed by just putting what you need on the scale letting the rest hang off. A far as I know, there is no chart that shows the length and width needed to fit a tire though, I have looked many times and even asked here.

Also, to get a reference, my 15 foot tow chain that is a little smaller than tractor chain links, just barely fits in a 30 cal box. 50 cal it fits nice but that can dont fit behind my seat as well so I have to carefully feed it into a 30 can.

I don't think they'd fit, and if you are thinking of a flat rate box I
think they have a 20# international limit and I never saw a tractor
tire chain anywhere near that light. Do you want double ring chains
or 'street' chains?

street chains and I have a 70 pound limit. My address is not international....

Right, I was forgetting that you are there in an official capacity.
Would these truck tire chains work? I am not sure if I am
understanding the sizing, but it looks like it might be right. The
price seems good, maybe too good.
