No rain for three days. No floods for three weeks. Today I saw [now this is big] a dry rock. N.E. Pa. is great country, but this was a wet year. Ed

Same here Ed, anybody that still has beans in the field switched from corn today, to hopefully get them finished. We are just wet enough we shouldn't be in the field, and we are getting just enough rain to keep it that way.

This has been a screwed up year from start to finish, maybe next year will be better. I'll be glad when all the equipment is back inside and we can call it done for 2011.

If it was easy, everybody would do it.

We are going to be dry untill Tuesday. The longest dry spell sence June. Maybe the soybeans will get cut ontime after all.
 
I live in the NY NJ PA area, heard on radio northern NJ had 34 inches of rain during Aug & Sept. All the people in this area that lost everything, homes, towns, roads, ect would gladly give you some rain if possible.
 
Oh yeah we also had 12 inches of snow here Saturday and areas south and east of us up to 39 inches with leaves still on trees. They still dont have electric. Been a tough year

North Western Pa.. The sun could be seen for 2
days in a ROW!! Everyone & there Brother are
try"en to get crops off.. The Only one having
great success are the ones with tiled Fields.
Everywhere else it"s 4wd & ruts...
 
Oct. a record for rain and Sept was close if not a record as well. Northwest Ohio. Actually we broke the years record a long while back.
