Will a faulty Solinoid cause my Craftsman Lawn tractor to pop its 30 Amp fuse? Can't see any bare wires touching.

I have seen fuses been blown just by a faulty connection. just as in Cub cadets If you don't have good ground connections and clean terminals, you bay draw too much voltage.

I would start with the ground strap just under the battery box on the left side.

It could if it was internally shorted. The fuse holder might hav corrosion on th clip prongs and that will heat the fuse. Clean and shiny is good. then a little LPS corrosion inhibitor. Jim

My Craftsman had an electric clutch for the blade- it would pop the fuse if the blade bound up.
