Wisconsin Distributor drive gear

My Dad has a 4 cylinder Wisconsin air-cooled powering a woodchipper. The Distributor drive gear is "fubar", his words. The distributor is a fairbanks morse type. He checked with Wisconsin, and they said it"s obsolete. He"s dealing with snow right now so i don"t have any serial #"s. Does Anyone know where to get one/have one? Thanks.

He should take a good look at his timing gear. Here's what a Wisconsin owner found on his timing gear. Hal

My manuals for models VH4, VH4D, VE4D,and VF4D show Prestolite distributors. Case VAC uses the same distributor with a different drive gear on the distributor. He must have a magneto and not distributor. I have a couple of mags for the Wisconsin 4 cylinder engines. Also have manuals for the above mentioned engines. I also have a doner engine, with most parts, excluding pistons.

My email is open..

WHY not post a picture of what you are looking for... I have some Wiscy stuff around, as I'm sure do many others. But but NO Fairbanks distributor!

WICO made distributers. I've never heard of a
Fairbanks-Morse distributor. If a Wisconsin
engine had a distributor, it was usually a
Prestolite/Autolite. Do you think a Magneto
drive gear is needed..you can still buy them
new from Wisconsin, or Magneto shops. I've got
new ones for 2 cylinder engines!(wico)
