What time are you going to start plowing on the 5th? Is it corn or bean ground? Thank you.

Tractors start showing up about 8, visit a while and start plowing about 9. Get there when you can. Might be tractors in and out all day.
This year the field was corn. They ran a verticle tillage machine over it during the first or second week of Sept. They waited till we had about an inch of rain 10 days ago and ran the machine over the field a second time. The horse area even got a third pass.

Where is this plow day being held? Wouldn't mind dragging out the 2 bottom.

Just big tractors and horses or are garden tractors allowed ? only one day event ?? usually garden tractor folks like a couple days so they can sit around a campfire.

Bill, from the Kentucky Fried Chicken on east Main Street go south about 3 miles. Loooong lane to your left, the Jack Gumm farm. Watch for signs.

Roy, we haven't had any garden tractors, YET. You could be the first. It's only a one day event although a few will show up to plow the second day. No overnight facilities at the plow site.
