tractor wishlist

its been a long day today, so i started thinking to myself of my tractor wish list. I am going to stop at 8 but i could go on and on and on!

1. Oliver 1655 (already own)
2. Oliver 1855
3. White American 60 FWA with a loader
4. Oliver 1955 Cummins (pull on occasion)
5. Massey Ferguson 165
6. Oliver 1850
7. Oliver Super 88 Diesel NF (puller)
8. John Deere 830 (3 cylinder) (Dad's)

Probably farm mostly hay. Put the 1955 CDC on the discbine and tedder with the JD 830 or the MF 165. Rake hay with the 165/ Super 88/ or 1655. Square Bale with the 1655 and occasionally with the 1855. The 1850 would probably be on the round baler but the 1855 would also be on it occasionally. Move wagons around with the 1855 and the Super 88. Spear the round bales with the 60. Back the wagons in the barn with the JD 830. Probably fertilize hay with the 1855.

Id like most the tractors to be in their "work clothes" but wouldnt mind having the Super 88, 1655, and 1955 Cummins in show (or close to it) condition.

Anyone else have a wish list?

what do you guys think?

yeah the 2010 was a bad egg. my favorite deere's are the 3020, 4020, 4320, and 4455. I drove them all at work. my favorite is probably the 3020 and then the 4020.

Gotta keep it RED !
1)Super MTAD

2)Super M LP (own 2)

3)450 Diesel

4)Super MTV

5)F-20 or Super MD

Thats how you do it boys .

my dad had a 65 3020 ,I now own a 69 3020,aint the best tractor ever made but to me it is ,put hundreds of hours on my dads tractor back in the daygotta love it

Kind of depends on what kind of work I had to do, but here are my choices:

JD 4440 (late one)
JD 2950/55 with cab and loader
JD 2040
JD 830 (2 cylinder)
JD 730 (2 cylinder Standard)
JD 630(2 cylinder Standard)

here we go. could go on forever too.

ford 86,87,9000,96, and 9700 with canopy
any ford tw series
a nice oliver 4wd(missed my opertunity a couple weeks ago with a bad headgasket for 1300)
ih 1086

For my setup, this is what I want. Sorry not all tractors.

1. Vermeer tree spade machine, 4WD, articulating. 44 or 48 inch spade.
1. Ford 3930 4wd with a clutchless reverser. Already own, just want the reverser.
2. JD350 dozer. Already own.
3. JD490 excavator. Probably will never afford.
4. 5 yard dump truck.

This is what I need. What I want... kind of partial to the Allis Chalmers line. I guess I will take one of each model.

Guess I like to aim high. My list would be an Oliver Super 44, a MM UDLX a JD LA and then the work ones a Super 77 Oliver and a Oliver 88. Already have an Oliver 77 and S88 so just want to fill 9n the gaps. Oh and the one for pulling them around is a new engine for my 1963 Diamond-T road tractor so I could haul the old ones with an old one and have mouths drop when I pulled into a show

Already farming hay full time, want to get into grains and some row-crop work, so all would be working one way or another.

1. 4020 Diesel-already own one, wouldn`t mind a powershift, but I really don`t mind the synchro-range, it drives my dad nuts so the PS would be for him. Is and would remain the primary tillage tractor, I don`t want any more ground than a 4020 can work, just need a set of duals and weights.

2. 2510 powershift diesel-I think one of these would be the sweetest little baler tractor, because we do all small squares, and I like the waterloo row-crops much better than the dubuque utility style like the 2020.

3. Late styled G, always loved the looks of the styled Deeres, and a late G would probably be the most practical to work, probably on the tedder, rake, and wagons, though I would not mind an A, and I have a line on a `44 B, if I get that it might satisfy my craving.

4. 820 2 cyl.- My grandpa broke ground on his homestead and dairy with one in the `50s, so my dad is fond of them, and I have to say I agree with him.

5. Ford-versatile 9030-my one tribute to modern tractors, one of the only loader tractors I like, excellent brush-hog tractor for opening new ground, probably would not be used in the fields much.

Mine is pretty simple.
1959 JD 630 Row Crop
1951 or 52 JD G
1952 MM ZA
And to round it out a Case 730D
I farmed with all of these at one time. When I have all these then I would have to add a IH 1066 and a White 4-150 just cause I used them on the dairy I worked at.

IH 1486;IH 1206;IH450D;IHSA and SWD9(to complete my Super 'collection')Ford 8N(gotta be a '52 model)JD 720D;JD4320;Case1030;Oliver 1950T;Ford9600.Any tractor that I dont already own!(except a xx70 series Case!)

variety is the spice of life
JD 4320 discbine
MF 1155 tillage
oliver 88 raking
ford 7000 baling
smaller IH on the tedder
AC G for the garden
MF 165 for utility

currently I am working on acquiring a MF 165 diesel, with two post canopy.

It is a tractor my father had and is what I now want to pull a "v" type hay rake and other utility chores

I like any standard tractors in general but here is my list.

730 Deere standard diesel or gas
830 Deere (2 clyinder)
4520 2post canopy Deere (my first tractor)
6030 Deere
7520 Articulated Deere
1206 Wheatland IH
2150 4wd Oliver

I guess I'll stop there. Those are the big ones!

As long as we are dreaming, here is my wish list:

* 1925 JD Spoker D
* JD Lindeman Crawler
* 1934 JD Open fan shaft A on round spokes
* Unstyled JD AW on steel
* JD 720 Diesel with electric start
* JD A Hi-crop
* JD Low Radiator G
* 1972 JD 4020 Powershift Diesel
* JD 4000 Powershift Gas - To go along with my 4000 Diesel Syncro
* JD 2520 Powershift - Gas or Diesel
* JD 3020 FWA

All Blue (or red and grey) for me, of course. In addition to the ones I have, I'd add two that my Grandpa had years ago... a 6000 Commander with the short-wheelbase wide front and a 7200, both on 18.4x34's. Always wanted one of the 70 series Genesis models too... no need for that much power, but since this is just dreaming, I'd take a 8970 - one old enough to have Ford in big block letters on it. Probably a 4610 II with fwd for a loader tractor, too.

Here I tell people I`m color-blind and if it works, I like it, but then I look at my list and the top 4 are all green :). I guess I should list numbers 6-10 just to get some other colors in, I`m just more used to Deere, been around them the most.

(quoted from post at 15:42:39 10/27/11) I've got a JD2010 gas and really like it. Runs like a top. The diesel blocks cracked I hear.
Most people are unhappy with the 2010s, but a diesel rowcrop would be high on my dads list, he made hay with one as a kid, then bought it from his dad and wished he never sold it. I guess it should be on my dream list just so dad could enjoy having one again.

Have Fer TO20, cause I started out on Dad's and a JD 4020 powershift for my son. I admire the JD 4320 and would love one with a cab.
