hydraulic oil level....

Hey folks,
used a dump trailer the other day with the new tractor.... With the oil level normal, the trailer wouldn't dup all the way, put enough oil in to work and now it's overfull and leaking out the sealf in a couple places.
Is there a trick to fix this problem like a buffertank (???) or something?
Will be putting a FEL on soon also so the cylinders may be enough to store some extra oil?

Thanks for any tips..

Dave

4 to 5 liter tank with its top at the same elevation as the top of the original reservoir and plumed with a 14-to 16mm hose going to the drain on the original reservoir, and with a vented cap will make it nice. The extra oil in a loader will not help, the oil is available only when the cylinders are used. (unless the loader has the type of extra reservoir I mentioned above) Good luck. Jim

With resect, putting a double acting cylinder and hoses/couplers on a trailer is more money than an add on reservoir, and less able to keep the problem from reoccuring on other applications. On a loader it works well. Jim
