IH 300 GEAR OIL LEAK

I HAVE A 300U WITH GEAR OIL LEAKING FROM THE TORQUE TUBE HOUSING.JUST HADE PTO BANDS RELINED AND GOT THE TRACTOR TOGETHER,REFILLED DIFF AND TRANS,LET THE TRACTOR RUN FOR 20MINUTES AND OIL STARTED LEAKING OUT BETWEEN FILL PLUG ON TORQUE TUBE AND TRANS FILL PLUGS.OIL ONLY LEAKS WHILE ENGING IS RUNNING,DID I JUST OVERFILL THE TRANS OR DO I HAVE A SEAL LEAKING INSIDE?

Trans fill level check plug is on the left side under the foot plate. Hytran oil should be only to that depth. Not sure what both fill plugs have to do with leaking, or where the leak is coming from.

Leak is from the t/a clutch compartment. Holes are there to keep oil from filling that compartment up. Seal or seals are leaking. Two on the rear or t/a unit side of compartment can leak. T/A sun gear shaft and the t/a carrier unit. One on the front side of the compartment for the IPTO drive shaft.
Normal oil level is below the seals but oil makes its way to the seals when running when lubricating bearings and gears.

The tractor does not have a T/A so are there seals for the T/A in the housing still? Or do I just have a seal leak around the IPTO drive shaft? Thanks for all the great help!

If the tractor has the IPTO and came without a t/a the same # of seals are used. Only difference is the transmission input shaft retainer has a seal inside it and the retainer OD is also sealed by a seal in the t/a housing.
If it wasn't a utility the cover on top of the t/a housing could be removed without much trouble to get a idea which seal it is. If its the rear ones, may as well change all since the center housing needs out.
Without a t/a clutch you may be able to tap and plug the holes and let that cavity fill up. May need to seal the holes near the top if oil splashes that high. Also bolts with sealer will need to go in holes on both sides of the compartment. If you do it keep a eye on the oil level for a time until cavity reaches transmission oil level.

Sorry there's one thing that slipped my mind.
The shaft from the clutch to transmission input passes through the IPTO drive shaft without a seal and no way to seal. So if the t/a clutch compartment fills up to oil level it can run into the main clutch compartment from splash or tractor going down grade. You don't want that.
