he weather has been pretty good, a little frosty in the mornings but the rest of the day relly nice. The older I get the more I dislike winter

Baa. Humbug. What's so good about it? I have to got out in the cold and damp and take another diesel fuel shower, and then figure out what pieces of the 165 I lost. I liked working on these tractors better when they were spread out like road kill.... ba. humbug......

Well, you're in a pretty unfortunate spot, if you hate winter! LOL

I talked about moving to Montana years ago- but the little woman refused to get into those winters.

Thank You!! it is a beauty of a day starting here, fresh crisp air blue sky, feeling good and can work what more could some one ask for!!! Hope all have a great day no matter what you chose to do SMILE IT COULD BE MUCH WORSE!!!!

I guess every day is liken to a weekend to me, as the cows milk morning and evening regardless of the day of the week. But the best part is , I never dread Monday morning and back to work and that long drive that I have read about in a earlier post. Have a good one, Bruce

And a good day to you too!The sun is shining bright,no wind, gonna get to 70 degrees-perfect weather!Gonna spend the day baleing the last hay of the season.Steve

Was 34F in the deer stand this morning. Home for lunch and going back out this evening. Love black powder season!!

21 degrees and 4 inches of snow up here, nice and balmy :) Waiting for the swamp to freeze up hard enough to support the 8N so I can go brush-hogging in the snow.

There. See? I tried so hard to be miserable today, and you ruined it. Got that MF165 barking like a...well, like when I howl at the moon when up in Alberta.
I adjusted the carb and timed it by ear- wide open. Wow. She will give your mini-moe a run for her overpriced diesel money. 2 months ago we couldn't figure out how to get the @#$%^^&&* piston and rod out of the guts!!!
I heard something rolling around in the gas tank, looked in there and there was the bottom half of a locking gas cap. My guess is when it was a highway mower, sitting on the side of the highway one night-someone popped the cap with a hammer- half came off the top, the other half keep the insides from getting shinny all these years.
And I 'think' the live pto works OK. Nice to have power steering back, keeps me from running over anymore jeeps.
So yeah, I did have a great day. Suppose I got to say 'thanks' or something eh?? grommble grommble......
