We will be holding the 9th Newark Tractor Show here in the UK on the weekend of November 12th and 13th. I run the feature tractors and this year it will be John Deere tractors and equipment so I hope you UK members of this site will come and join us. All being well i should have at least one of every model offerd to the British farmer from 1915 onwards. MJ

I might manage to come down for the show . Is it concours models or working clothes tractors ?. Although I don't really mind concours ones if they want to be judged , they'll need to be right . But I prefer to see working tractors that won't be excluded from attending just because they have an alternator or halogen lights , or more modern rubber . Regards Jamie from East Kilbride ( 1980 2140 OPU and 1983 2040 LP )

Whats concours, we have more unrestored and older restoration tractors than concours. Exhibitors do not come to this show just to win a cup they come to enjoy themselves for the weekend. Hoping to get a visit from Don Mcmillian if he is well enough to travel.Iff you do make it just ask for Michael Hart, everybody knows me. MJ

Cheers Michael , it's nice to see either immaculate ones , or rough originals . If someone wants to have a tractor like a new from factory one , then it'll need to right with all the right parts , a cab or roll frame if older than 1971 , and factory paint , not this 2 pack nonsense . Personally I don't mind if the tractors have some upgrades to make them better to use .
If I get down I'll look you up and I'd be honoured to meet Mr MacMillan . Regards Jamie Smith .

Hi Jim, the United Kingdom of Great Britain is that little place the other side of the pond to yourselves. Its the country that gave you decent utility tractors like the IH B250 B275 B414 etc. As you Americans say HAVE A NICE DAY. MJ

If only I had know I could have brought my JD 5020 down.
