Unlike most flooding ,,this gets bigger every year .

this pic was month or so ago . Fishing is awsome . Heading up in jan for Ice fishing . They have raised or in process of raising roads 15 - 20 ft . They have to get snow plows out now to push stumps and rocks off when waves are high .

Yep, but not only perch. Walleye and Northern Pike also, monsters, 8-10 pounds common. Real concern though, the water is so high that it may communicate with rivers that have carp. Carp getting into DL would seriously damage the sport fishing. Also, if you are a goose or duck hunter it is the place to be.

LOL Scott.....8-10 pounds is keeping size and thats about it.....monsters???? Last time I had pike big enough to call keepers 2 were in the 8-10 lbs range and one was 18 1/2 lbs.

That is what I ment, 8-10 pounds is common, and then there are some real monsters. When she was 8 my daughter was a real fisherwoman, perch, bluegills ect. One day she hooked up to a 4 foot northern. I had to help her real it in and all was fine till we got it in the boat. She was terrified of it, screaming to throw it out, grabing me, trying to hid behind me, the fish flopping around. I finally got the fish on the stringer and her emotions under control, untill we got back to her mom. Then she started to bawl. My wife glared at me and demanded to know what happened. We caught a fish.

LOL one of my gransons was 4 and with me and my son when I caught the 18 1/2 pounder. He was excited and while we were on the lake was trying to tell anyone near use what I had caught. One old gentalman ask to see it so I pulled in the stringer.......and that little poop tried telling that old guy that he had caught bigger fish!!!!! His best so far has been about a 3 pound pike. One of these days I'll get him on a real one! I caught that one in 4 feet of water on a surface lure flipping for bass.
