Doctor visit

Please pray for me cause I am big chicken. Gotta see Doc on Thursday. Had Melanoma in 1988 and now seems like they want to take me apart and put me back together. Diabetes also with insulin. Blood pressure on the high side w/pills. Thanks a million. Dave at 68.

You got it man, thinking of you. On the upside, diabetes and high blood pressure CAN be controlled. My wife was a diabetic for years, runs in the family. Mother in law didn't obey doctors orders and it got her in her fifties, my wife "went by the book" and never had any serious problems. I know, you tend to think about "what could happen" when we really need to think about all those who are living quite a normal life with such diseases. Good luck.

I have had a growth on my nose for about 14 years started out as a mole that was irritated by my glasses. and of course I couldn't stop picking at it would bother me when I sweated Last year it was still just about the size of a worn eraser on a pencil. this year it ballooned to about the size of a dime and protrudes maybe 3/16 of an inch. and creeping over the bridge of my nose...ALL FOR THE SAME REASON AS YOU, 268 LB of CHICKEN . My Dr. has made me an appointment to see a plastic surgion for next Tue I have to go see if they have to take off my nose.(Me procrastinating) (MY FAULT)but I always expect the worst, but still afraid.

Sounds like you are in good hands.Hope the plastic surgeon will have good news for you.Long story short: I had a small red dot on the end of my nose that was growing weekly,Went to the dermatologist who took a biopsy,sent it in,results came back "Cancerous Growth" Surgeon cut about an 1/8th inch of my nose on the end off. Now my nose is flat on the end and I see strangers looking at it closely some times.The Plastic surgeon said no fix available for it so life moves along. For a long time I was self consciounce of it until I aquired an out of sight ,out of mind attitude and mostly forgot about it. No one has ever asked me about it so I tend to ignore it.Good luck. JH
